Ben Affleck Wanted Matt Damon As Robin in Tim Burton's 'Batman'

Affleck has since gone on to play the Caped Crusader himself after debuting in last year's Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, and he'll appear next Justice League, out Friday. Aside from Damon, the trailer was packed with other celebrities, such as #JenniferAniston (Laser Lass), Jason Bateman (Bendolite), Zack Galifanakis (Super Duck), Billy Crudup (Color Kid), Shaquille O'Neal (Spire), Ty Burrell (Mirgiv), fellow Batman #WillArnett (Meinstrom), Jon Hamm (Lucky Lad), Cousin Sal (Super Sal), #BenAffleck (Muscle Man), and Wanda Sykes (The Bleach Master). Abrams who announced that he had directed a film based on a comic book Kimmel made at a young age titled The Terrific Ten. Clearly, all three of these "white guys with beards" had a great old laugh in this segment of the show.

And of course, no team is complete without a villain to face off against. Batman's got one of the most impressive, deep rogue galleries in all of comics, and I think it's time more of them were given the love they deserve!

Seeing some of Hollywood's most popular celebrities bringing to life a story you dreamt up as a kid has got to be one of the most awesome things ever. "I took this exact book, I didn't change a word".

Federal Bureau of Investigation data shows hate crimes appeared to drop in Wisconsin
Still, some organizations saw the increase, the second year in a row for which hate crimes rates went up, as cause for alarm. Over half of the religion-related offences were anti-Jewish, while a quarter were anti-Muslim, according to the data.

The trailer ended as Dr. Bolt interrupted and declared, "We all suck!". Neither Affleck nor Damon got cast in the role, but as everyone remembers, Robin was nowhere to be found in the movie.

If you've watched Batman recently, you know there was no Robin character in the film (or its sequel)."No, they didn't end up using it", Affleck said. From an outsider's perspective, it's just nice to see a childhood flight of fancy brought to life by genuine movie stars.
