Padmavati row: Bollywood celebrities speak in support of Sanjay Leela Bhansali

"In a democracy everyone has right to protest".

"I want to say that you have Censor Board, they will take a decision". The police have arrested eight people for the incident.

The protests have started to turn violent as Karni Sena on Tuesday vandalised a cinema hall in Kota and warned the cinema hall administration to not release the film. The film also features Deepika Padukone in the title role as Rani Padmavati, alongside Shahid Kapoor as Maharawal Ratan Singh and Ranveer Singh as Alauddin Khilji.

He further said that his team made the period drama with complete honesty and it is a tribute to Rani Padmavati's courage.

Actress Rose McGowan turns herself in on Va. drug charge
McGowan is best known for her appearance in the TV series "Charmed" and her role in the first "Scream" film. McGowan is one of dozens of women who accused film producer Harvey Weinstein of sexual misconduct.

"So, I feel it is unfair that you comment on a film without watching it". Some Representatives of Rajput Ekta Foundation have demanded to ban, Sanjay Leela Bhansali's film "Padmavati" to release in multiplexes of Gurujram.

Interestingly, November has marked not just Deepika's 10 years in the film industry - her debut film Om Shanti Om was released on November 9 - but also November 15 is when Goliyon Ki Raasleela Ram-Leela hit the screens four years ago.

The Indian Film and Television Directors' Association (IFTDA) along with Cine and TV Artists Association (CINTAA), Western India Cinematographers Association (WICA), Screenwriters Association (SWA), Association of Cine and Television Art Directors and Costume Designers (ACTADCD), too came out in support for the filmmaker and talked about the issue at a press conference. What have we gotten ourselves into? The protesters are already demanding a ban on the film and now the theaters are burnt way before the film is released.

"It has been an incredible journey and we are literally counting the days". "Cine actress Deepika Padukone giving us lecture on regression! Nation can progress only when it is regression from her perspective". Deepika said that the movie will release as per schedule, on December 1. This has happened with many films in the past and every time it has happened, I have spoken openly about it.
