First Trailer for A QUIET PLACE Creates Terror With Silence

The trailer for Paramount Pictures' "A Quiet Place", which was partially filmed in Little Falls, was released this morning.

The first trailer has now landed, which reveals what looks to be a dialogue-free film.

The trailer shows the family as they move quietly around their run-down home and property, using sign language to communicate with each other and playing Monopoly with felt pieces.

'Star Wars' doubling down on royalty in 'The Last Jedi'
Now the Star Wars: The Last Jedi director Rian Johnson has managed to one-up JJ Abrams by scoring cameos from British Royals. Daniel Craig had a cameo as a stormtrooper in 2015's The Force Awakens , and featured in a scene with Daisy Ridley's Rey.

Real life husband and wife John Krasinski (who also wrote and directed the movie) and Emily Blunt play parents to two young children, living a mostly-idyllic and entire silent life in the middle of the woods. His previous credits as a director include 2009's Brief Interviews with Hideous Men, 2016's The Hollars, and three episodes of the comedy series, The Office. Michael Bay will produce along with his partners Andrew Form and Brad Fuller of Platinum Dunes.

Here's what we can glean so far: a couple (Blunt and Krasinski) are living (well, surviving might be a more apt description) with their kids in a remote cabin in the woods after what we can only assume is some bad incident.

A Quiet Place hits theaters April 6, 2018. Regardless of what has actually happened, the situation is that they have to stay silent, lest some terrifying creatures hunt them down.
