Sixers' Joel Embiid historically destroys the Lakers

According to ESPN, Embiid is the first player with 45 points, 15 rebounds, seven assists and seven blocks in a game since blocked shots became official in 1973-74.

Despite Lonzo Ball's early shooting struggles, the Los Angeles Lakers are going to be patient before possibly tinkering with the rookie point guard's stroke.

Savage. Take note that the location Embiid used was Lavar, which is the name of Ball's father.

Sweet heavens. Teammate Ben Simmons, however, wouldn't be content with Embiid doing all of the work.

The 7-foot center later tweeted that he meant no disrespect toward Lonzo Ball. He scored just two points on 1 of 9 shooting in the Lakers' loss to the Sixers, and head coach Luke Walton has noticed a change in the rookie guard.
