Nationals announce 2018 spring training schedule

It officially became time to look forward to 2018 when Major League Baseball announced its exhibition schedule on Monday. They will play their first true road game the following day, taking the short 12-mile trek north to face the Miami Marlins in Jupiter, Fla., on February 24. All Sox home games are scheduled for 1:05 p.m. AZT, except for a 12:05 p.m. start on March 25 against the Brewers, their final Cactus League game. The Miami Marlins and New York Mets visit a total of six times each, followed by the St. Louis Cardinals five times, Atlanta Braves for three games, and the Detroit Tigers for one appearance.

The Nationals will play 15 "home" contests, though they'll play 18 times in Palm Beach during the 32-game Grapefruit League schedule. They'll play at the White Sox's facility of Camelback Ranch in Glendale on March 16.
