Don't Expect a Price Cut on the Nintendo Switch This Black Friday

We won't know all the best Black Friday discounts until the actual day, but we've rounded up a few available now and will add more as we find them so stay tuned.

In an interview with The Washington Post, Nintendo of America President Reggie Fils-Aimé spoke on the company's decisions for the Switch's first Black Friday on the market, albeit briefly.

We're not sure how big the discounts on the 3DS consoles will be, especially since the New 2DS XL hasn't been out long and is already reasonable at just £129.

2017 has been such an exemplary year for video games that it can be easy to overlook just how much of an impact the Nintendo Switch has made in such a short period of time.

Amazon PRE-Black Friday 2017 Nintendo Switch deals. While Sony and Microsoft may continue to go back in forth when it comes to their consoles' power for the foreseeable future, the Nintendo Switch offers something completely different - the ability to play Skyrim while sitting on a bus. The Switch, among other Nintendo products, has had a hard time staying on the shelves, due to both high demand and a lack of supply.

Fils-Aimé said Nintendo has tried to learn its lessons from last year's launch of another throwback, the NES Classic, which frustrated fans who had troubling finding the limited-edition console.

Nintendo Switch fans will instead have to rely on retailers offering bundles and accessories at discounted prices.

The Nintendo Switch is a stellar device, winning both Product of the Year and Console of the Year at this year's Trusted Reviews Awards.
