He is also accused of stealing unaired episodes of Dwayne Johnson's cable TV series Ballers and Larry David's comedy show Curb Your Enthusiasm.

United States federal authorities have charged a man alleged to have been involved in stealing unaired HBO shows and scripts for Game of Thrones.

From approximately May to July, the Justice Department said Mesri successfully compromised multiple user accounts belonging to HBO employees and other authorized users, and then repeatedly obtained unauthorized access to HBO's computer servers. Once he got into HBO's systems earlier this year and stole 1.5 TB of data he demanded $6 million worth of Bitcoin for the proprietary data he had stolen, HBO never paid the ransom.

You must remember HBO's rough summer of cyberhacks, extortion, and leaked material from various shows, including "Game of Thrones". One of the leaks was an unaired episode of a new HBO comedy called "Barry" on which he superimposed an opening credit showing the Night King and the "HBO is falling" threat, according to the indictment.

The copy of the complaint uploaded by The Daily Beast mentions Mesri as an expert in computer hacking techniques, who had allegedly worked on behalf of Iranian military to break into the computer systems of the world.

Labour party members opted for his leftist politics over Sarwar's centrist views, coupled with his promise for real change. That led her to remove a pledge on her Holyrood declarations of interest page to give all her outside earnings to charity.

"Today, winter has come for Behzad Mesri", Kim said.

Behzad Mesri has been charged with wire fraud, computer fraud, aggravated identity theft, and interstate transmission of an extortionate communication.

Mr. Kim said the government decided this was the right time to publicize charges against Mr. Mesri, after assessing whether there was a realistic chance of luring him outside of Iran to make an arrest.

When contacted by WorldPost, HBO spokesman Jeff Cusson declined to comment.
