Apple Adds Unlocked iPhone X to Apple Store

Apple Adds Unlocked iPhone X to Apple Store

"SIM-free" means your iPhone doesn't ship with a carrier SIM card.

Prior to this week, iPhone X purchases were locked to specific carriers. Morgan Stanley previous year forecast that Apple's shift into e-SIMs will "shake up" the telecom industry by making it much easier for consumers to switch service providers.

Apple is now selling the iPhone X without a SIM card.

Apple is now offering the unlocked, SIM-free version of its anniversary phone to fans in the U.S. who haven't decided on a carrier - but there's still a one-month waiting period. Carriers offer the option to pay the price of the smartphone in monthly installments, but those options aren't available when you buy a SIM-free iPhone X. However, Apple does offer its 24-month special financing program for specific credit card customers.

House Of Cards To Return Without Kevin Spacey
The future of the hit TV show had been left uncertain, after Kevin Spacey was sacked following allegations of sexual misconduct . The streaming giant also confirmed that Robin Wright, who plays Claire Underwood on the show, will be the new lead.

The iPhone includes all of the accessories you need to get started, including the EarPods with a Lightning connector, a USB-to-Lightning cable, the wall adapter, plus a Lightning to 3.5mm adapter for using regular earbuds or headphones with the handset.

The release of a SIM-free iPhone X is especially beneficial for AT&T and T-Mobile customers.
