God of War PS4 Release Date Leaked on PlayStation Store

God of War PS4 Release Date Leaked on PlayStation Store

PlayStation America has listed God Of War on the PlayStation Store with a March 22nd release date. Still, it could fit into place with a schedule that also includes Detroit: Become Human and Insomniac Games' Spider-Man, along with other titles that are set to release on PlayStation 4.

Apparently, Sony Interactive Entertainment leaked, by mistake, the release date of God of War. I'd nearly bank on it being in the last week of March. This has resulted in much speculation with fans coming onto all platforms and making inferences as to whether this news is real or fake. We're definitely due for our Kratos fix.

Truck drivers circle Capitol, honk during protest
Republican Congressman Brian Babin attended the protest in Baytown Monday, talking with truckers about their frustrations. Many drivers attending the protests threw their support behind a bill that would delay the ELD Mandate by two years.

An exact release date hasn't been provided by Sony, but they did conform that the new God of War will release in early 2018 for PS4. We must, therefore, take this information with caution, as it could be an error.

Of course neither date can be confirmed, but the update does seem to come across as being a placeholder date, since we doubt Sony would release the game that late. Still, we won't have absolute certainty on this until Sony comes right out and says it, so we'll have to wait and see. A collection of the first two titles was released in 2014 for PS Vita, with a remaster of God of War 3 following for PS4 a year later.
