Star Wars Battlefront 2 Update Speeds Up Progression

Star Wars Battlefront 2 Update Speeds Up Progression

EA managed to receive the "honor" of the most-downvoted comment in Reddit history following its attempts at smoothing things over.

Today, an update went live that includes some adjustments to the economy and progression.

Star Wars Battlefront II will also see a new wave of additional content beginning tomorrow, December 5, where "The Last Jedi" season will include new heroes, vehicles, and maps for players to explore in addition to new single-player missions and Faction Challenges. The end-of-round payout, which rewards players for doing well in the game and beating top performers, will increase and gamers can expect to earn three times more credits in the game's Arcade Mode. There's also changes to credits earned in Arcade mode, and even the daily loot crate awarded for logging in. One change is that you can get more credits are each multiplayer game you play. But all players stand to benefit from the Arcade Mode increase (which had been capped at 500 credits per day) and daily login crate drops. While we're still looking into ways to add more content into it the mode in the long-term, we think that this should help in the near-term for those who want rewards for completing the different scenarios.

Qualcomm confirms receiving Broadcom's board nominees
Broadcom is set to take its first formal step towards a "hostile bid" to takeover Qualcomm , according to Reuters. Qualcomm , meanwhile, is expected to rigorously oppose the proposed board upheaval.

Finally, and probably most importantly, Daily Login Crates will now provide players with more Credits, but like the extra match bonus, the amount has not yet been revealed. You'll notice the change right away when you log in.

While this Battlefront 2 update features welcome changes, it still doesn't rectify the game's odd progression system, even if it does make it easier to start raking in the cash. This means you can earn hero characters faster! Finn and Captain Phasma will be joining the lineup as representatives for The Resistance and the First Order respectively.

And, of course, Iden Versio returns in Star Wars™ Battlefront™ II Resurrection during the days of the First Order's rise to power.
