"Now I am raring to go for any chance I can get to play in the Champions League".

The 21-year-old intends to use Wednesday night's final Champions League Group H game against Apoel Nicosia to generate a bit of momentum.

With Tottenham having taken only two points from their last four Premier League matches, Pochettino's men have fallen a massive 18 points behind runaway leader Manchester City, but the Argentine said he is not concerned about Tottenham's below-par results of late.

Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino is resting Harry Kane, Christian Eriksen, Hugo Lloris, Eric Dier and Jan Vertonghen this evening.

"We needed a midfielder, like Luke Amos, and another striker, like Kazaiah Sterling".

"I'd like to be at my highest level in every game and training session, but that isn't possible".

Pochettino has been indirectly quoted by reporter Alasdair Gold on his personal Twitter account as confirming that the former France youth worldwide will get a chance to "prove himself" against the Cypriot side this week, but Pochettino has issued a brutal reminder that the player still needs to "grow up".

However, midfielder Dele Alli will play as he attempts to regain his form after an indifferent start to the season. I think it's been a good opportunity for me to learn more about myself as a player and as a person, so I'm looking forward and I've got to keep enjoying it.

Michel Vorm, Juan Foyth, Serge Aurier, Danny Rose, Moussa Sissoko, Fernando Llorente and Georges-Kevin Nkoudou are expected to start.

"We are going to rest some players, rotate the starting 11, but Dele is going to play. After that I am not sure what people say".

"It's a game that only provides us with the opportunity to play with some players that need to be ready if we need them".
