Liverpool have Klopp's Approval - Ready to Sign $48million Star

Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has this morning opened up on rumours that the Reds have quoted Barcelona a price for a January move for Philippe Coutinho. The biggest La Liga clubs - FC Barcelona and Real Madrid - are reportedly coming after two of their best players.

This particular source is championing the suggestion that Liverpool are willing to sell their prize asset to Barcelona, in January, for a transfer fee said to be of the magnitude of £127 million.

The Spanish football pundit insists that both clubs are not trying to broker a deal for the Brazilian despite the ongoing speculation that suggests otherwise.

Number one, it's been reported that Liverpool asked for €200m for him at the end of the transfer window - that is absolutely not true.

However, head coach Valverde says it is pointless to talk about transfer rumours, especially while the window is closed. Of course Phil is still essential for us.

"I cannot give an answer for that now".

No reason has been given for the move thus far, but we shall keep you informed. Producers are trying to secure new distribution, The Tracking Board noted.

"As long as we have the opportunity to do something [sign someone] then we should think about it".

However, according to reports in Spain, a deal is closer than ever, with Liverpool having set what they would consider an acceptable offer.

Liverpool still need more talent not to get rid of that world-class few that they have.

Dominant and devastating in qualifying, the German machine just continues to motor along.

As European champions, they command respect and with Cristiano Ronaldo heading up a side which is blessed by a veteran core (Joao Moutinho and Pepe) and youthful exuberance (Bernardo Silva and Andre Silva), Fernando Santos has a promising group of players to take to Russia. "It's unlikely he will be involved at Brighton but we'll see".
