Texas Cheerleader's 'Invisible Box Challenge' Goes Viral

A football player at Anderson University in IN posted a video of how to do it back in August.

Ariel Olivar from Manvel High School in Texas posted a video on Twitter of her performing a attractive "invisible box" trick, appearing to levitate as she steps over the non-existent box.

No one could pinpoint when this Invisible Box Challenge actually started, but according to the UK's Daily Mail, it goes a while back. Then they later raise a foot, pretending to step on the imaginary box before them and then hop their other leg to land on the side, while keeping the foot, that was raised mid-air, suspended.

The trick isn't new to the internet and has been circulating on Reddit since 2014.

The premise of the challenge is to "step" onto the "box" with one foot then "step" over it with the other, creating the illusion of a solid object.

Obama expected to address mayors' summit on climate change
The ceremony will celebrate mayors and cities undertaking the most ambitious and innovative projects to tackle climate change. Emanuel said Trump and his environmental officials are in denial on climate change.

What is the invisible box challenge?

In a video posted on YouTube, dancer Marcos Grados, from Guadalajara, Mexico, also manages to incorporate the move in to one of his routine.

In one of the first instances seen of this trick, back in August 2014, the video has been viewed nearly 889,000 times.

"You'll notice [the] body rotates towards the leg on the "step" as well". "Very explosive hip flexor, abdominal and glute strength is what is driving the leg up and over the "box", Ebenezer said.

A brand new day, a brand new social media challenge, but we have to say, this one is pretty cool and it's now taking the Internet by storm.
