Annette Roque's Subtle Response to Those Matt Lauer Split Rumors

Annette Roque's Subtle Response to Those Matt Lauer Split Rumors

After a massive backlash on social media, the Today show host also issued a public statement apologising for his "words and actions" that caused pain to certain people. "And it's shocking to think that there could be this side". A source told People magazine that they are still living under the same roof, saying, "They're taking it day by day right now".

"She is not going to stay with him and work it out", Henri, who lives near Amsterdam, told the outlet.

Roque has remained silent since Lauer's scandal broke, but her father made telling comments about the couple's future.

Matt Lauer may be gone from the small screen, but he's still popping up on the big one. The father also denied reports that she'd fled to the Netherlands. I feel kind of betrayed. "I have met Matt, he was a nice guy", Henri Roque said. It's my own daughter. "I don't know how the kids are doing".

In 2016, the disgraced anchor appeared on "The Meredith Vieira Show" and she told the audience that she once found a "huge bag of sex toys" in Lauer's closet. "They are not together trying to work it out".

Gov Proclaims Pearl Harbor Remembrance Day
The remains of numerous 1,177 US military personnel who died aboard the Arizona are still inside the submerged wreck. On the airfields around Pearl Harbor, the Japanese destroyed 161 American planes and seriously damaged 102 aircraft.

Roque filed for divorce from Lauer in 2006, but she withdrew the request weeks later.

With embarrassing old clips, incriminating videos and numerous allegations of everything from sexual harassment to rape being waged against him, Lauer is reportedly ready to sail off into the sunset on a luxury golf course. She later reconsidered. The rumor was, according to another source, that Lauer offered her a postnuptial agreement that promised her up to $5 million for staying in the marriage.

Apparently, many of Lauer's co-workers were surprised by the news.

That being said, because irony (and karma) never fails to deliver, Today's ratings have actually gone up since the network unceremoniously dumped Lauer, attracting more viewers than Good Morning America, its rival at ABC, all five days last week-the first time in nearly a year, according to the Associated Press. "This afforded him the assurance of privacy", Variety wrote. Since then multiple women have come forward with allegations of sexual misconduct.

As for Lauer, he apologized for his behavior following his exit from the network: "Some of what is being said about me is untrue or mischaracterized, but there is enough truth in these stories to make me feel embarrassed and ashamed".
