I represent United States of America, not Donald Trump: Skiist hottie Lindsey Vonn

Olympic skier Lindsey Vonn plans to represent the the upcoming Winter Olympics, but she's insisting she has no intention of serving as an ambassador for President Donald Trump.

The 33-year-old Vonn is getting ready for the final act of a long and illustrious career.

She continued, "I want to represent our country well".

In the same week that saw Russian Federation banned from competing in the 2018 Winter Olympics, the issue of whether or not the United States will send its top athletes to compete for gold is supposedly up in the air.

Away from the slopes, Vonn also appears willing to put her head above the parapet and speak out about USA politics.

Trump's controversial presidency has seen him attack the National Football League for allowing players to protest over the racial inequality in the United States - even referring to demonstrating players as "sons of bitches".

Dwayne Johnson Will Receive Star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame
He's one of the few WWE superstars to build up a successful film career, with guys like John Cena and Batista following suit. Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson will be honored with his own star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame , according to Variety .

When asked by CNN's Christina Macfarlane if she would accept an invitation to the White House should she win an Olympic medal, Vonn replied: "Absolutely not".

"But I have to win to be invited".

"Absolutely not. Nope. But I have to win to be invited so - no, actually I think every US team member is invited", Vonn told CNN.

Vonn, who won a gold medal in the women's downhill competition in 2010 in Vancouver, skipped the 2014 Sochi games due to knee injuries.

She explained before giving the answer that she takes the Olympics "very seriously".

Vonn endured an underwhelming start to the new season, crashing out of last week's opening downhill event at Lake Louise.
