Our First Proper Look At PUBG's Desert Map

Although PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds has become something of a worldwide phenomenon, gamers everywhere are undoubtedly exhausted of experiencing the same Russian landscape time and time again. What was supposed to be a reveal of the PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds gameplay of desert map, Miramar, became an important reveal of the PUBG 1.0 release date. Thankfully, the game's development team over at PUBG Corporation have acknowledged the need for variety and today's Game Awards event was the ideal time to display what new map Miramar has to offer. The unique terrain and dense urban areas of Miramar will create a new Battle Royale experience where the old strategies may no longer work and new tactics are required.

Miramar will be playable on test servers as of tomorrow, the Xbox One release of the core game is still on track for December 12.

Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle Gets Couch Co-Op
Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle is getting some paid DLC next year, but this year we're getting some for free. Versus mode will launch as a free download for Mario + Rabbids owners on December 8, 2017.

The video made it a point to compare the new map to the default map of Erangel, as the desert isn't only a much different environment, but the map looks to play much differently as well.

Polygon reports that The Coalition, the Microsoft-owned studio famous for Gears of War: Ultimate Edition and, more recently, Gears of War 4 was very helpful during the development of the Xbox One port. In line with this, they also revealed a short cinematic PUBG trailer for the Xbox One X version.
