R. Kelly's Atlanta mansions 'ransacked' and burglarized

R. Kelly's Atlanta mansions were ransacked and emptied out while he was on tour in New Orleans. They told police they were hired by Walker to sell everything because Kelly was relocating to Chicago.

The maid, who called 911 on November 26, told dispatchers that she was hired to clean Kelly's Old Homestead Trail mansion.

Johns Creek Police Captain Chris Byers said items the thieves absconded with include several televisions, couches, tables, chairs, and a diamond-encrusted hoodie. He's facing a number of charges, including burglary and theft by deception. Investigators said they were able to tie the thefts to one of Kelly's associates named Alfonso Walker.

However, Kelly's team told cops Walker was just a part-time employee. The mansion he's reportedly renting on John's Creek is where he was according to BuzzFeed, "held women against their will in a cult", is one of the homes that is now empty.

The Atlanta Police issued an arrest warrant for Walker after he failed to turn himself in Tuesday.

In interviews with police, Walker allegedly said he sold the items because he felt he was "owed" money from the singer.
