'X-Men' Director Bryan Singer Accused Of Raping 17-Year-Old Boy

'X-Men' Director Bryan Singer Accused Of Raping 17-Year-Old Boy

In 1997, a 14-year-old extra accused Singer in a lawsuit of asking him and other minors to film a nude shower scene for the film "Apt Pupil".

Director Bryan Singer has been accused of raping a teenage boy at a yacht party in 2003, according to a lawsuit filed Thursday.

Singer then allegedly forcibly performed oral sex on Sanchez-Guzman, and then raped him, according to the lawsuit filed by attorney Jeff Herman.

Afterward, the suit claims, Singer contacted Sanchez-Guzman to dangle the promise of a Hollywood career in exchange for his silence. "Upon information and belief, Mr. Waters was a wealthy tech investor who frequently hosted parties for young gay males in the Seattle area". When they got to one of the rooms, the suit alleges Singer thrust his body on Guzman, forced him to the floor, shoved Guzman's face against his crotch and demanded he perform oral sex.

Singer denied the accusations to TMZ, who first reported the news. Although the alleged victim pleaded with him to stop, Singer allegedly wouldn't and caused him to choke.

USA healthcare spending growth slowed in 2016
The rate of spending growth for 2016 is more in-line with the average of 4.2% growth seen between 2008 and 2015. On a per enrollee basis, private health insurance spending increased 5.1% in 2016, about the same as 2015.

Because of the alleged incident, Guzman says he suffered emotional distress, mental anguish, and physical and mental pain.

The lawsuit comes just days after Singer was sacked from directing the Freddie Mercury biopic "Bohemian Rhapsody" after vanishing from set.

Singer reportedly regularly failed to arrive on set, leaving cinematographer Thomas Newton to fill his shoes.

A rep for Singer did not immediately return a request for comment. In a statement to TMZ, a representative for the director drew attention to Herman, who represented another Singer accuser, Michael Egan, in a sexual assault lawsuit filed several years ago that was dismissed.

The accusations come days after Singer was sacked by Twentieth Century Fox from their production of a Freddie Mercury biopic that only had two weeks left of shooting. He was also sentenced to two years in federal prison for an unrelated fraud case.
