West Ham boss Moyes plans changes for Chelsea game

West Ham boss Moyes plans changes for Chelsea game

If they do overcome West Ham on Saturday afternoon, the champions could potentially cut the gap to table-topping Manchester City to eight points. Chelsea could come away with an emphatic win here.

West Ham are a huge 6/1 to win at home, the draw is 10/3.

There have been goals at both ends in each of the last five matches that these rivals have contested and Paddy Power go 10/11 (1.91) that the trend continues in this clash; the same firm offer 4/5 (1.80) that there are, at least, three goals scored when these teams lock horns.

The New Zealand worldwide centre-back picked up a knock against Everton 2 matchdays ago, and his influence at the back was sorely missed against Manchester City.

"I'll keep my team until tomorrow", said Moyes.

Another dilemma facing Moyes is whether to recall his West Ham captain Mark Noble for the match at the London Stadium, or stick with the players that performed well at the Etihad Stadium.

A strong Chelsea side drew 1-1 with Atletico Madrid, as they finished runners up in Group C.

DR Congo: UN peacekeepers killed in attack in North Kivu
Guterres warned in October against budget cuts to MONUSCO, the UN's largest and most expensive peacekeeping mission. The base is located 45 kilometers (27 miles) from Congo's Beni, town repeatedly hit by rebels.

Chelsea have in-form Eden Hazard and hitman Alvaro Morata who will lead the line against the Hammers. The Belgian is one of the best dribblers and creators in the league. "Chicharito is one of those who is back in training".

To be fair to the Blues, however, four of those matches were against Arsenal, Manchester United, Man City and Liverpool.

Moyes is looking for more of the same from his players but will make adjustments for Saturday's derby.

Jose Fonte, James Collins and Andy Carroll are all expected to be out of this match, while Javier Hernandez, Sam Byrum, Winston Reid, Michail Antonio, and Chiekhou Kouyate are all doubts, according to Physioroom.com.

Defender David Luiz remains out for the Blues with a knee injury so Andreas Christensen could remain in defence.

Kenedy, Charly Musonda and Michy Batshuayi could be involved.
