Data miners uncover a Red Dead Redemption 2 mission in GTA

Players will join Van der Linde gang as Arthur Morgan, who is bent on paying back a debt and so leads the gang across the Wild West fighting, robbing and paving the road to their freedom. If you're able to complete that successfully, you'll get $250,000 in GTA Online and unlock the Double-Action Revolver for use in Red Dead Redemption 2.

Earlier this week GTA Online data miners, The Guru Team, started to comb through the Doomsday Heist.

Players have been digging through the game's files and found assets and code that indicate a Red Dead Redemption-themed mission, where you can ultimately earn a new revolver as well as a bonus in the upcoming Red Dead Redemption 2, is in the works.

Microsoft will bundle PUBG with Xbox One X next week
However, the Xbox One version is about six months behind the PC game in terms of development - and unfortunately, it shows. The Xbox One X is priced at $499.

There are plenty of reports claiming that Red Dead Redemption 2 will come out somewhere in the second-half of 2018, next year.

The reward will be a revolver in the box of the Boles Overland Stagecoach Co. Team Guru also found a locked chest and a handwritten note. The note, on the other hand, alludes to a mysterious treasure that split a family apart. However, for new fans of the game title, a lot of grinding or real hard cash is required to avail the secret lair and subsequently, the "GTA Online: Doomsday Heist". Much to their delight, they discovered yet-to-be-released cars and planes, and even items that seem to hint at a revolver from "Red Dead Redemption". Unfortunately, we don't know if PC players will get access to this content, as Red Dead Redemption 2 is now only known to be in development for PS4 and Xbox One. There are 20 places on the GTA map that players will have to visit. Image provided by Team Guru. One theory posited at the time was that it was the grave of John Marston. And it looks like this hunt-which isn't live yet-will also answer the mystery of who is buried in that unmarked grave out in the middle of nowhere.
