Above normal temperatures next week with fog Monday morning

We'll gradually see more sunshine as we go throughout the day with high temperatures warming up into the lower 60's.

Cloudy skies, fog, and drizzle are affecting North Texas this morning.

Monday afternoon we are running about 10 degrees above normal, highs reaching the upper 40s.

A few showers are possible throughout Monday, but the best chance for rain and storms arrives overnight Monday into Tuesday morning and continues pretty much all day Tuesday. We'll likely have a wide range between the upper 50s to mid 60s. We may also see some spotty light rain for areas S/E this afternoon. Below is a look at one of our computer models which is forecasting over an inch of rain for main locations, especially from Dallas to the southeast. Temperatures surge Friday on strong southerly winds ahead of a cold front. Through the day Wednesday we can expect our rain chances to increase, and by Wednesday afternoon/evening we will have some heavy rain moving through. Along it, look for showers and perhaps a few thunderstorms. Wednesday will stay warm with a high of 58. Please check back with us for updates!

A spell of rain at first midweek, with highs into double figures for a time, but it will turn colder and clearer thereafter, with some mist and fog at times. However, there is still a lot of uncertainty with the forecast.
