Christmas Tree Recycling In Wandsworth

Christmas Tree Recycling In Wandsworth

Christmas trees were yanked from cars and shredded to pieces on Saturday the annual Christmas Tree Recycling event in Killeen. Place the tree curbside anytime today through January 19, and it will be collected on the regular trash and recycling collection day for that neighborhood.

Residents are asked to remove all tree stands, nails and ornaments from the trees. The facility is open seven days a week from 08:00 to 20:00hrs on Monday-Friday and 08:00 to 17:00hrs on weekends. Crews will stop in each neighbourhood once to collect the trees which will then be chipped and composted.

The organization is responsible for keeping over 139,000 trees from landfills, as the trees are collected, mulched and used in local parks as well as for the public to pick up and use themselves.

Alcohol may increase cancer risk
Drinking alcohol doesn't just damage the liver and kidneys - turns out it could increase cancer risks and damage DNA as well. So, when they drink, acetaldehyde builds up which causes a flushed complexion , and also leads to them feeling unwell.

"Alternatively you can cut your old trees up and put them in your garden waste bin, to be taken away when collections start".

If you have a front garden place your tree alongside your dustbins and recycling sacks inside your garden.
