Nokia 6 in India now getting Android Oreo Beta

It is powered by a 1.4GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 SoC, coupled with 3GB RAM.

The Oreo Beta Labs update for Nokia 6 is about 1.7GB in size, and users can download it only via Wi-Fi connection. There is no possible explanation from HMD Global regarding this but it could be because the Oreo build was not ready before the smartphone was shipped to the distributors and resellers in China. The Finnish manufacturer has apparently chosen on-screen navigation to make the interface of the new Nokia 6 closer to stock Android UI. The phone still comes featuring a 5.5-inch IPS fullHD display and is based on similar aluminum unibody design.

After being leaked by a Chinese retailer just yesterday, the second generation Nokia 6 is now official. The smartphone sports a rear fingerprint sensor and has maintained a 16:9 aspect ratio display, unlike the 18:9 standard these days. Also, the internal storage of the new Nokia 6 is upgradable via microSD card slot (up to 128GB) in a hybrid dual-SIM configuration.

Battery capacity hasn't been upgraded this year, so both models rely on a 3,000 mAh powerhouse to keep lights on.

Toyota's new automated auto system will bring retail stores to you
Toyota revealed an autonomous concept vehicle, the e-Palette, at the Consumer Electronics Show ( CES ) in Las Vegas on Monday. If Toyota has its way, the future of Burning Man would be a sea of autonomous, electric mini-buses.

But the second-gen Nokia 6 now includes an additional microphone to support Nokia's OZO Audio's spatial audio capture, a feature HMD also offers on the Nokia 8 flagship.

While the handset is getting the same set of cameras - a 16 MP rear-facing camera and an 8 MP selfie, HMD Global threw in the Bothie mode that was only available to its higher-tier offerings Nokia 7 and Nokia 8.

With the Nokia 6 2018, the company chose to ditch the micro-USB port in favor of the newer USB Type-C. The new Oreo update - as mentioned above - is a part of the Beta Labs program, hence not all Nokia 6 users may get the software update for the time being. You can just check for the update by going to Settings- System- About Phone- System update. The 64GB version is expected to land in retail with a price of approximately $260 attached to it, while the 32GB model will be sold for around $230.
