Metal Gear Survive beta launches January 18, per new trailer

Unsurprisingly fans still don't like any of the Survive trailers that Konami happens to put out, even if another publication site posts it up for the company, which is evident with the latest like-to-dislike ration for the single-player gameplay trailer. This should ease concerns over those lone wolf types.

Fans who enjoyed the previous games are not too thrilled about bringing zombies into the mix either, but some are considering to pick the title up with what has been shown in the single-player gameplay footage. All of the rewards that players receive from the co-op sessions will feed back into the solo campaign, so players can then craft new weapons and gear.

White Cadbury Creme Egg debacle gets worse
The prized white eggs are on sale in branches of Tesco, Sainsbury's, Co-op and a selection of newsagents across the country. Manufacturers have confirmed there's an extremely easy way to identify the white eggs, which are only available in UK.

Although Kojima is working on his metaphysical action game Death Stranding right now, Konami is still sticking to its guns with the game known as the "abomination" of the Metal Gear series, titled Metal Gear Survive.

The slick production values you've come to expect from anything with the Metal Gear name attached to it seem to have remained as well, especially in this newest trailer. It's coming along very nicely as its early 2018 release nears, and I can't wait to see what the full game offers. That includes how you can summon or build things like a fence in the middle of the game world, which is used to delay a batch of enemies pursuing the player. The beta begins Thursday, January 18 and will run until Sunday, January 21.
