'Dark Souls: Remastered' and new 'Mario Tennis' coming to Nintendo Switch

'Dark Souls: Remastered' and new 'Mario Tennis' coming to Nintendo Switch

So far the only thing we know for sure is improved in Dark Souls Remastered is the framerate and resolution. It's finally happening, and it is certainly glorious. This marks the franchise's debut on a Nintendo platform, and now for the first time ever, this revered (and challenging) game can be played on the go.

Original story continues: From Software, the developers of beloved and notoriously hard series Dark Souls and Bloodborne has teased an entirely new game simply entitled "New Project". According to a press release, Dark Souls Remastered is being developed by From Software, the studio behind the original trilogy, instead of being outsourced to a third-party studio.

"DARK SOULS: REMASTERED delivers the same great gameplay, online mechanics, and environmental storytelling that has inspired countless game players and developers", said Kasumi Yogi, Associate Brand Manager for BANDAI NAMCO Entertainment America Inc.

The incident was widely reported by local media, and people across the country took to social media to condemn the crime. Kasur had earlier hit the headlines in 2015 when a gang of paedophiles running a child sex ring was busted in the town.

The latest entry in the series, Dark Souls III, was released on PC back in early 2016, andDark Souls: Prepare to Die Edition was available for players eager to look backward in the series' catalogue. The title is also headed for the Xbox One, PS4 and PC as well.

Dark Souls: Remastered will run $40 and will be up for grabs May 25. Most recently Rockstar Games's LA Noire also made its way to the Nintendo Switch and there might be some truth to the rumor, however at this point nothing has been announced by either Rockstar or Nintendo. From Software has been very open about not having plans for more Dark Souls content, but this evidently doesn't apply to remasters.

In any event, Dark Souls: Remastered is due May 25, 2018.
