Woman returns 'dead' Christmas tree to Costco in January for full refund

A California woman received a full refund from her local Costco after she returned her Christmas tree because it was dead. 4, more than a week after Christmas, but she still made sure to get her money back for the now-deceased greenery.

So come January, the woman reportedly wanted her money back for her once lively Christmas tree because it was now dead.

"I can't make this stuff up". But I don't think it fazed her because she has no conscience.

Scott Bentley was so outraged the woman's chutzpah, he posted a photo he took of her along with his commentary on Facebook.

Costco is known for it's generous return policy.

There is a blood drive set for 11 am to 7 pm, Tuesday, January 16 at the First United Methodist Church, Maryville. O-negative blood in particular is needed since it's the universal blood type that any patient can use.

According to the post, Costco gave the woman a refund. The only items that have complicated or restricted return policies are electronics, diamonds, cigarettes and alcohol, products with a specific life expectancy, such as tires and batteries, and custom-made products manufactured to the customer's personal and unique specifications.

One person wrote: "People like this are miserable".

Another wrote: "Sister works for Costco, can confirm".

Used Christmas trees are often left on curbs for waste collectors after the holidays, but a woman in Santa Clarita, Calif., brought hers back to Costco for a refund, "because it was dead".
