Mohamed Salah named Premier League Player of the Month for December 2017

Salah has scored 23 goals and assisted eight times in 29 games across all competitions, as well as winning the November's Premier League POTM, Liverpool's POTM three times, and two consecutive PFA Fans' POTM.

The Egyptian global has now returned to full training at Melwood today and is therefore expected to be available for the visit of City to Anfield on Sunday, unless he suffered any setbacks over the coming days.

A groin injury kept him out of the 2-1 win away at Burnley.

It is reported that Salah travelled with the rest of the squad on their mini-break in Dubai, and is expected to return to training this Wednesday, ahead of Sunday's fixture. He has responded well to treatment, and as it stands is in line to be available at the weekend.

Kenyatta's discussion with Zuma will focus on bridging the balance of trade which is now highly in favor of South Africa. She said the commission's goal was to complete her report, and it should deal first with details that had arisen in it.

Sunday's encounter with City at Anfield, live on Sky Sports Premier League, will be fourth-placed Liverpool's first match since the departure of Brazilian midfielder Philippe Coutinho to Barcelona.

Man City beat Liverpool 5-0 at the Etihad earlier in the season.

After the City match, Liverpool travel to face Swansea in the league on the following Monday before hosting West Brom in the FA Cup, with that tie now set for a 3PM kickoff on Saturday the 27th.

Jordan Henderson and Alberto Moreno were both absent as they continue their respective rehabs while Nathaniel Clyne is still AWOL.
