PUBG has already sold three million copies on Xbox One

Following its relatively buggy launch on Xbox One, PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds has received a handful of patches to refine the title for the system. Today, PUBG Corp. and Xbox are excited to share that through the end of 2017 the PUBG community on Xbox One has already grown to over three million players. PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds will put up to 64 players on a remote island for a winner-takes-all showdown where strategic gameplay is as important as shooting skills.

The PC version hit version 1.0 on December 22 and the release included the new desert map.

PUBG is now available to play on the PC and Xbox platforms although no details have been announced as yet whether the game will arrive on the PlayStation 4. As a matter of fact, PUBG managed to draw in a huge crowd with a player count of over 1 million within its first 48 hours of being available for Microsoft's current generation console in "early access".

PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds is available now for Xbox One priced $29.99/£24.99.

The blueline is less experienced, with Cody Goloubef leading the way with 129 National Hockey League games. Burke didn't promise anything but "gold-medal effort" - which isn't exactly gold medal or bust.

Still, it seems that despite the performance issues, many Xbox gamers are happy to pick up the game and see what all of the fuss is about.

"Early Access on Steam and Game Preview on Xbox One are like pre-release, so they don't have a restriction on quality", explains Kim to InvenGlobal. "We want to push out as many updates as we can, but it's very hard to do frequent updates when it comes to the console platform, so on this we're now consulting with the Xbox team on how to make this happen more quickly". So, maybe because of that, or for the interest of being more transparent, the developers have revealed the drop rates of loot box items; specifically, the Biker and Desperado crates, along with the patch notes from the newest update.

The Xbox One version of PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds is going to continue seeing improvements, too. Mohsen as video games news reporter along everybody in ultragamerz work hard to bring you all the gaming news from direct and trusted sources.
