Dark Souls Remastered coming to Nintendo Switch, PS4, Xbox One and PC

An upcoming remastered version of Dark Souls was recently confirmed during Nintendo's mini-Direct yesterday.

Dark Souls quickly became one of the most beloved franchises of the past decade and this remaster should allow a whole new wave of players to enjoy its satisfying gameplay loop of dying over and over again.

Dark Souls challenges players to explore the twisted ancient land of Lordran.

The judges gave the state about three weeks to file a new plan with the court so it will be in place before the 2018 midterms. Although the federal ruling is a win for Democrats, many Republicans have broken with their party over gerrymandering.

Dark Souls was first released in 2011 and went on to become a cult smash that spawned two direct sequels and a host of imitators, ranging from Lords of the Fallen to Nioh. The game's "Prepare to Die" edition already runs on 60 FPS and high-resolution textures, thanks to DSFix and a handful of other available mods. PS4 Pro and Xbox One X owners will be happy to hear their beefed-up consoles will upscale Dark Souls up to 4K and at a super-smooth 60FPS. Despite not having all the visual bells and whistles as originally claimed, the action-RPG will still be playable in 4K resolution and boast an improved frame rate among other extras.

Following the announcement of Dark Souls Remastered on Nintendo Switch, Kotaku has revealed, according to their sources, that Dark Souls 2 and 3 could also see a release on the hybrid system.
