Manchester United won't sign Vardy

Jose Mourinho wants to strengthen his options up front with Zlatan Ibrahimovic struggling for fitness.

The two-time European Cup victor is also thought to be tracking West Ham United's Javier Hernandez and Arsenal's wantaway Chile worldwide Alexis Sanchez.

Jose Mourinho confirmed today that there was something up with the player at least, but he did explain that the player could not be happy with his condition.

UNITED have cooled their interest in Jamie Vardy.

Lionel Messi has told reported Manchester United target Paulo Dybala to snub Real Madrid and make a move to the Premier League, according to reports in Spain.

Chelsea linked with shock move for West Ham star
According to the Daily Mail , the 54-year-old said: "I think when a person insults another, you can expect a response". We know the difficulty and for sure we want to avoid the Mourinho season with Chelsea ".

Sanchez often plays as a winger too but securing a player of his talent would be a massive coup for United, while Mourinho would relish the chance to get one over on Pep Guardiola.

Manchester United's main efforts now will go into landing wantaway Arsenal man Sanchez, with the club boosted by reports that rivals Manchester City are not willing to increase their £20million bid.

But latest reports claim that it could take an offer in excess of the £75m that United paid to sign Romelu Lukaku from Everton in the summer, to acquire Vardy's services.

The Mexican spent five years at Old Trafford, scoring 59 goals in 157 appearances, with the majority coming from the bench.

Vardy is also happy and settled in the Leicester area and is keen to remain an important part of the club's plans.
