As we mentioned, the OnePlus 5T Lava Red edition has been launched in India. It uses two anodic oxidation processes, using double blasting and an AF coating to ensure the texture and feel. It is the first OnePlus smartphone to sport a 6.1-inch full optic AMOLED display with 18:9 aspect ratio.

The OnePlus 5T Lava Red Special Edition comes in one variant with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage. The screen is also protected by 2.5D Corning Gorilla Glass 5, which helps you to prevent damages caused to the screen.

The rear side features a primary camera of 16MP coupled with a secondary camera sensor of 20MP capacity. OnePlus 5T also features facial recognition which the company claims is very reliable and unlocks the phone in 0.4 seconds though it can't be used for transactions. OP5T runs the Android 7.1.1 Nougat operating system based on Oxygen OS. The smartphone is also the first from the company to feature face unlock feature.

The smartphone is backed by a non-removable 3300mAh battery which supports Dash Charge. On the back, there is a dual camera setup of 16 MP and 20 MP sensors both with f/1.7 aperture for better low light photography. The handset has dedicated slots for dual-SIM (nano+nano) configuration.
