Speculation that Winfrey could run for the White House in 2020 has swirled since her rousing speech at the Golden Globe Awards, praising women who have spoken up against sexual violence and promising "a new day".

He then captioned the snap: "Oh I forgot, that's'd heard the rumours but you had no idea he was actually serially assaulting young starry-eyed actresses who in turn had no idea what they were getting into".

Winfrey herself has not said anything publicly since Sunday on the prospect of challenging Trump, but in the past, she has rejected the idea of entering politics. And Oprah - worth a whopping $3 billion - is just 63: She'd be younger moving into the White House than Mr. Trump was.

Winfrey, in September and October, publicly dismissed the notion of seeking the nation's highest office, though she noted that Trump's victory made her rethink the requirements of the office. In my career, what I've always tried my best to do, whether on television or through film, is to say something about how men and women really behave.
