Ronaldo: Neymar took a step back leaving Barca for PSG

Neymar completed a world record move to PSG from Barca previous year, August.

His decision to leave Paris Saint-Germain for Barcelona raised many eyebrows on him.

Ronaldo believes the 25-year-old switch from the Catalan club to the French giants is a step backward for the former Santos striker.

During a recent interview with former Brazil global Zico, Ronaldo admitted that he was surprised by Neymar's choice, and feels it was a step in the wrong direction.

They are determined not to go behind the backs of PSG, and will not pursue a move without the prior knowledge of the Parisian club.

But maybe that's exactly why we need films like The Post . "I said, 'No, no, stay there.' I said I'll sit on your lap". So, to have that fall to a woman, who was really alone in her position, that's what interested me.

"He's now at PSG but from a sporting perspective his decision was a backward step", the 2002 World Cup victor said in an interview with former Brazil captain Zico published on YouTube.

"But there are challenges that everyone seeks".

Neymar was on target on Wednesday as PSG defeated 10-man Amiens 2-0 to reach the Coupe de la Ligue semi-finals. In Madrid knew that to sign the Brazilian from Barcelona they did not succeed, but now Neymar belongs to the PSG that gives hope, "Creamy" on the successful completion of the transfer.

I personally agree with what Ronaldo had to say about the player. The Brazilian wizard could've moved to Real Madrid, Bayern Munich, Manchester United and Juventus considering their prestige and current form.
