Suspect in custody after Greyhound bus pursuit across state lines, police say

Police said the bus came to a stop near the exit ramp to IL on Route 173 and that all 40 passengers were evacuated off the bus safely.

Passengers were removed from a Greyhound bus traveling eastbound on I-94 near north suburban Wadsworth after reports of a disorderly and possibly armed passenger, who is now in custody. The caller said a man was acting insane, claimed he had a gun and threatened passengers. Greyhound said in a statement that the incident began around 9:50 p.m. CT. The police pursuit started and then crossed into IL. Spike strips were used to stop the bus on southbound I-94 near Rosecrans Road. That's what it boils down to. There was four or five people telling him he needs to sit back down, he refused to. Three hours later, they took the suspect away without anyone getting hurt.

Oil prices sit at three-year highs as march to $70 slows
The average production in 2019 will rise 580,000 bpd to 10.85 million bpd, the agency said in its first outlook for next year. An oversupplied market contributed to a sharp decline in crude oil prices, which dropped below $30 per barrel two years ago.

"The roadway remains closed at this time while the investigation continues", Illinois State Police said.
