ATLANTA | Weary-eyed and sleep deprived, Alabama sat at the dias as national champions.

Alabama trailed 13-0 at halftime when Crimson Tide coach Nick Saban pulled Hurts and inserted Tagovailoa to open the second half.

Turns out the celebration for all went well into the night. I mean, one of the first things that I said to Jalen was we wouldn't be here if it wasn't for you.

There were so many things, but the most important one is when I went to church with one of the coaches. The heavy eyelids were easy to spot. He's a proven victor, having lost only two out of 28 games coming into Monday night, and it certainly would've been the safe bet to stick with him a little longer. For most of Bryant's time in Tuscaloosa, 'Bama and its heavily-funded program could stash good players away from the competition.

"... Isn't there 'Sleepless in Seattle?'" Saban said.

"It was surreal, it was so unexpected because we pretty much thought Alabama lost", said Honolulu resident Brandon Lee, who was driving home when friends started texting him to let him know that Tagovailoa was in the game. Probably have several that should and probably have several that shouldn't, from a business perspective.

"That's what came out of my mouth after I planted the seeds in the shower", Gold said. It pushed Saban's conference winning percentage to No. 1 in SEC history among coaches with at least five years.

"Now the story's going to flip the other way, and the story's going to be: Is Jalen going to leave?" But he did have a keen sense of how special Monday night was.

Tagovailoa provided the unpredictability Nick Saban seems to fear.

Will the same make her the victor of Bigg Boss 11? While Shilpa supported Vikas, Puneesh had a totally different point of view. Vikas asked Shilpa Shinde to either jump in the pool which she hates or press the buzzer to exit from the task.

Saban's team is set up well for next season and the Giants are a certified mess. "I am so happy for him and his team". "We were watching my phone and watching the game and just screaming the whole time".

When he took the field in the second half, he was impossible not to root for.

Then again, here's a dude that's earning north of $11 million annually and continues to remain the toast of Alabama.

Will Mariota take any credit for Tagovailoa's success? That's a problem for next season, though.

"How this second half played out changes college football", Kiffin continued, "because Tua is going to be one of the best quarterbacks in college football".

It might go down as the greatest decision in a career filled with them.

Mike Lupica, Sports on Earth: "This was the morning after the left-handed kid who will never have to buy a vowel, Tua Tagovailoa, had provided the best ending that any college football game like this one, with a title on the line, had ever seen".

"He's done it all himself, you know I think where he gets his humility is from his family, how he carries himself is really from where we grew up". It wasn't the same boring win we've seen before with the Crimson Tide's steady-headed quarterbacks and hulking, NFL-ready running backs carrying the ball behind hulking, NFL-ready offensive linemen.
