What Tommy Wiseau Wanted to Say on Stage — Golden Globes

"James Franco just won", she tweeted later while watching the program. With any luck, he'll have a chance to turn the mic over to his Disaster Artist inspiration at the SAG Awards, Critics' Choice Movie Awards, the Spirit Awards, or maybe even the Oscars, should the trend continue and Franco is nominated.

And it wasn't because he cracked a side-splitting one-liner... But just after James went on to the stage and accepted his award while wearing a Time's Up pin, actor Violet Paley accused the actor of sexually assaulting her, calling out his hypocrisy on Twitter.

"Come on up here Tommy!"

If that were not enough drama, when Franco won the Golden Globe award on Sunday, Hugh Jackman's stunned face won the internet.

But James wasn't having any of it and elbowed the cult legend out of the way... awkward.

It further demonstrated the complicated dynamic between Franco and Wiseau. "They make it out like I'm pursuing young women". Finally, he thanked his brother Dave, saying, "I always wanted my own Coen brothers, now we have our own Franco brothers".

He not only shares his opinions about the show on Twitter but actively promotes Shilpa Shinde and her fan clubs on his account. Shilpa tried her best to make his stay in the house hard so much so that he tried to escape the house.

Franco, who also directed the film, said he was very happy to share the moment with Wiseau, and also thanked his cast and crew, including Seth Rogen and his brother.

Naturally viewers had a lot to say about the shock snub but opinion were divided.

After the two shared a hug, Franco had to push Wiseau away when he tried to grab the microphone. Shame on James for not letting Tommy speak!

Then using the director's one-of-a-kind accent (which Mr. Wiseau has said is Cajun but that most would call Eastern European), Mr. Franco read out a quote from Mr. Wiseau: "Golden Globes, so what, I'm not invited". Although Wiseau and Greg Sestero-co-star of The Room and co-writer of the book that inspired The Disaster Artist-were at the Golden Globes, they were at a table separate from the cast and farther back in the room.
