White called up as replacement for Lynn

Cameron White will fancy playing his first one-day worldwide in three years after replacing the injured Chris Lynn in the Australia squad for the five-match series against England beginning on Sunday.

White will replace Chris Lynn and would probably fill the gape at No. 4 position in the batting order.

Lynn was ruled out of the series after suffering a calf injury during a Big Bash League game for Brisbane Heat with the Queenslander being named in the Australia squad after almost a year. "He's playing very well", said Trevor Hohns, chairman of selectors. However, White's selection came as a surprise as the veteran himself thought that his worldwide career was nearly over.

Lynn injured his calf nearly immediately after being selected for the ODI series, with Maxwell the hot tip to replace him after good form with the bat in the Sheffield Shield and the Big Bash League. "He's playing very well", Hohns said in a statement.

The 34-year-old Australian was rewarded for his good performance in domestic one-day cricket and consistent form for the Melbourne Renegades in the KFC Big Bash League (BBL).

Long delays at under-pressure Lincolnshire hospitals
When they arrived, however, the hospital's A&E department was so overwhelmed that staff were unable to admit her. There were 4,734 emergency patients delayed for more than an hour, soaring from 2,413 people in the week before.

White has represented Australia in four Tests, 88 ODIs and 47 T20Is and even captained the Australian T20I side for a while.

"He ticks all the boxes for what we need at this stage", he added.

"I'll sit down with Steve when he gets to Melbourne and have a chat with him", Maxwell said on Tuesday.

"I've got no idea (where I'll bat), we've got a team meeting coming up shortly so I might get a bit more of an idea there".

"He's only trying to get the best out of me as the Australian skipper - there's not much you can say to the guy who's second-best to the Don".
