Patriots will be without Rex Burkhead, Mike Gillislee Saturday

New England Patriots running backs Rex Burkhead and Mike Gillislee, who are both listed as questionable with knee injuries, are not expected to play in Saturday's divisional-round playoff game against the Tennessee Titans, sources told ESPN's Adam Schefter. White, who was dealing with an ankle injury, missed Week 17 but will be active. A final decision on Burkhead's status will likely be revealed when the Patriots release their inactives prior to the game.

Along with White, the Patriots will have Dion Lewis and Brandon Bolden available in the backfield against the Titans.

Gillislee practiced in a limited fashion Thursday for the first time since he was injured in Week 16 against the Bills. Branch played in 12 games this season, including six starts, after being a regular starter the previous two seasons.

Cold and flu, while sometimes used interchangeably, are respiratory illnesses caused by two different viruses, said Anderson. The number of flu-related deaths in Manitoba has almost doubled in the past week, now surpassing last year's total.

The other Patriots players listed as inactive are cornerback Johnson Bademosi, offensive tackle Cole Croston and outside linebacker David Harris.

Burkhead, who injured his knee during the December 17 game against the Steelers and hasn't played since, has 518 yards from scrimmage and eight TDs this season. He's appeared in nine games and rushed for 383 yards.
