Dr. Harold Bornstein's summary included Trump's height (6 feet 3 inches) and weight (236 pounds), cholesterol (HDL 63, LDL 94, triglycerides 61), blood pressure (116/70), blood sugar (99) and normal results from liver, thyroid, heart and colon exams. Adults are supposed to do two hours and 30 minutes a week of moderate intensity aerobic activity or one hour and 15 minutes a week of vigorous intensity aerobic activity for "substantial health benefits", according to the guidelines.

"Based on his cardiac assessment, hands down, there is no question he is in the excellent range", Trump added.

Earlier this week, White House physician Dr Ronny Jackson confirmed that Trump is in excellent health but needed to lose weight, eat a better diet, and partake in more regular exercise.

Donald Trump's first medical exam since becoming US President was meant to silence those who doubted his mental ability.

However, it was pointed out that Dr. Jackson acknowledged that Trump has nonclinical coronary atherosclerosis, which is a form of heart disease even though Jackson also said that the president didn't have heart disease.

Cognitive tests like the one administered to President Trump are used to screen for warning signs of Alzheimer's disease and other kinds of dementia. But Trump's exam has taken on heightened scrutiny amid questions about his mental fitness.

Jackson describes Trump as "very sharp" and "very articulate when he speaks to me".

"I've found no reason whatsoever to think that the president has any issues whatsoever with his thought process", he said.

Trump's physician performed the yearly physical Friday at the Walter Reed National Military Medical Center in Maryland.

World's Longest Underwater Cave Discovered on Yucatan Peninsula
Besides Mayan culture, Anda believes the cave also holds evidence of the first American civilizations and extinct marine animals. Called the Sac Actun System, this gargantuan passage is so big it was actually thought to be two different cave systems.

That's according to his White House physician, navy doctor Ronny Jackson.

The doctor said he had "absolutely no concerns" about Trump's cognitive abilities.

Last week, Mr Trump, 71, had a three-hour examination in his first medical check-up since becoming USA president.

His latest assignment: defusing doubts about the health and mental fitness of the nation's 71-year-old president.

Despite some tests showing his heart to have a regular rhythm and no abnormal sounds, Trump also underwent a scan for calcium-containing plaque in the blood that could clog his heart.

"He said, 'I want you to get out there and I want you to talk to them and I want you to answer every single question they have, ' " Jackson said.

Do not expect U.S. President Donald Trump to hit the gym, despite his doctor's orders.

The good news about his health followed rather worse news about his poll ratings, after it emerged he had the lowest approval of any elected president in the first year. The gym facilities in the White House residence will be renovated to Trump's specifications, Jackson said, and first lady Melania Trump will be enlisted to help him stick to the new regimen.

The White House doctor says he is both physically and mentally fit for office.
