How to get Viewtiful Joe's suit in Street Fighter V

It features simplified versions of the storyline for each previous Street Fighter entry, going all the way back to 1987's Street Fighter. I always appreciated the character art in this game, but it felt like the UI and game cohesiveness was lacking, especially when compared to the attractive, thick ink brush strokes seen all over Street Fighter 4. It's a narrative that has hung around Capcom's beat 'em up like a bad smell since release, and one that conveniently forgets a couple of things. The game was still popular among the fighting game community because of its tightly knit gameplay mechanics that were fun and encouraged skilled play, but the content was severely lacking with a net code that suffered at launch. I love that Sakura blends the old and new, and hope she's exemplary of how the rest of the season's characters - a mix of favorites like Blanka, Sagat and Cody, and fresh faces like the mysterious G and Falke - flesh out the roster, taking what makes Street Fighter great and evolving it.

Prior to the game's release in early 2016, Capcom tried to market Street Fighter V as a more accessible take on the increasingly-insular fighting series. There's a lot more to this than the usual "ladder" of fights leading up to a boss battle, too. It is not hard to imagine that the full potential of Street Fighter V has been finally reached, even if it took plenty of time to get here. The game tries to mix things up by bringing back the classic bonus stage usually involving breaking a set of objects in limited time.

Arcade Mode offers a little more than what fans asked for. Current players of Street Fighter V and new owners of SFV: Arcade Edition will be placed into the same player pool, with PS4 and PC cross-platform play continuing to unite fans into a unified player base. It always has been brilliant.

There's also the massive UI overhaul, which we've noticed will get you into the fight quicker. Arcade Edition comes with a new Extra Battle Mode that includes challenges through official updates from Capcom.

Age of Empires: Definitive Edition releases on February 20th
The event will start on January 29 but you only have until January 25 to register for it. Age of Empires Definitive Edition launches on February 20th for Windows 10 PCs.

The online play, which frankly didn't work at launch two years ago, is now decent, and there's a huge pool of players to test yourself against. The trick is the challenges cost Fight Money to enter, so there's a definite sense of risk and reward. When Street Fighter V first launched, every character had a single V-Trigger, which are extra attack or movement options via the additional V-Gauge.

The new content coming in season 3 include not only new characters but also an arcade mode, second V-triggers for all characters, lots of modes and challenges, and more. It doesn't tear down the existing game and build a new one, but it's a nice addition to the foundation of Street Fighter V.

"With the new Arcade Edition, substantial new modes and game-changing V-trigger moves finally give it the meat on its bones it needs to live up to its legendary name", Saltzman noted, giving the new version a 9 out of 10 in his review.

If you've got a copy of SFV sat on a shelf, stick that disc in this weekend, grab the free update and enjoy what is likely the game you always wanted it to be. It's still not quite the milestone Street Fighter IV was, but it is certainly one of the best one-on-one fighting games of this generation in terms of gameplay, online features, and now - at last - content. At the time, I found a game that had a solid foundation, especially for tournament play, but lacked the bells-and-whistles players expect from AAA fighting games.
