Pope marries flight attendants in mid-air wedding

The Pope, who is on a Papal visit to Latin America, offered to marry the LATAM flight attendants when he heard, with the airline's chairman, Don Ignacio Cueto, acting as a witness.

Pope Francis sounded a stark warning about the future of the Amazon and its peoples during a visit to the region on Friday, saying they had "never been so threatened".

THIS is the heartwarming moment Pope Francis performed a wedding ceremony for two flight attendants on board a plane travelling between cities in Chile.

The pope's remarks drew shock from Chileans and immediate rebuke from victims and their advocates.

The Chilean priest was found guilty of sexually abusing minors and sentenced to a "life of prayer and penitence" away from the church in 2011.

"I am still his boss", she said. "These people are truly insane, and the pontiff talks about atonement to the victims".

Cruz, one of Karadima's most vocal accusers, earlier tweeted that the pope's defense of Barros meant that his "forgiveness remains empty".

The pope made the comments on Thursday as he brought his six-day visit to Chile to an end.

Barros has denied knowing about what he called the "serious abuses" of Karadima and has said he never approved or participated in those actions. There is not one shred of proof against him. But The Associated Press reported last week that the Vatican was so anxious about the fallout from the Karadima affair that it was prepared in 2014 to ask Barros and two other Karadima-trained bishops to resign and go on a yearlong sabbatical.

Tom Hardy's 1999 Rap Mixtape Surfaces
Well, Pitchfork surfaced a 1999 rap mixtape from Hardy and the listening experience can prove. pretty similar. And who can forget the time he chased after a moped thieves in Richmond, yelling: "i caught the c**t!".

Francis branded the accusations "all calumny", sparking outrage in the country.

"This land is a land of dreams, but let us work to ensure that it also continues to be a land of hospitality", said Francis in his homily. They staged an unprecedented protest during his 2015 installation ceremony and have protested his presence ever since.

The Pope asked his cardinals to draft the paperwork, he said.

"He has just turned back the clock to the darkest days of this crisis", said Anne Barrett Doyle, of the website BishopAccountability.org, which documents abuses in the Catholic Church. "Who knows how many victims now will decide to stay hidden, for fear they will not be believed?"

At least five Catholic churches have been attacked in Chile over the past week, some with firebombs.

While Karadima's victims were deemed credible by the Vatican, Francis apparently felt the need to change course on Thursday.

At the pope's first public mass in Santiago on Tuesday, he faced protests over the church's handling of decades of sexual abuse by the clergy.

Karadima became the face of the church's sexual abuse scandal in Chile.

"There is not a single proof against him, everything is slander", the Pope said of Barros.
