Jazz could move SG Rodney Hood at deadline

The NBA trade deadline is fast approaching.

According to the New York Times' Marc Stein, "there is a growing belief in league personnel circles" that the Jazz could deal the swingman "with multiple teams expressing interest".

Rodney Hood was expected to be a cornerstone for the Utah Jazz post-Gordon Hayward, but he may be on his way out of the Beehive State before too long.

Brady elusive about his hand injury
RB Latavius Murray has run for more touchdowns (22) in the last two seasons than any other National Football League running back. The bashing of Blake Bortles slowed this week after he made some timely throws last week in the win over the Steelers .

While shooting 40.9 percent from the field overall this season, he is on pace to knock down a new career-high of 38.6 percent of his shots from deep while hoisting up an average of seven per game.

But Hood, who views himself as an starter, was sent to the bench for Donovan Mitchell earlier in the season. Across the board, Hood is having quite the season.

The 25-year-old will be very intriguing in trade talks as he has height, length and can shoot. Plus, he's shooting 34.5 percent from three-point range. But that doesn't mean a player like Hood wouldn't still be valuable to the Jazz. The Jazz are fighting for a playoff spot in the tough Western Conference and moving an integral piece to their lineup can go either way for them. With Rudy Gobert inside and Mitchell manning the back-court, Utah has a duo that could lead the team for years to come.
