Zion Williamson pledge gives Duke top three players in ESPN 100

The Blue Devils now have the top three players in 24/7's rankings coming in, an unprecedented sweep, as well as Tyus Jones' little brother, also a point guard. According to coach Lee Sartor, Kentucky spoke to Williamson on Sunday while Duke came in Tuesday. But once Williamson gets healthy and dialed in, he could be one of college basketball's most fascinating case studies in recent memory. I feel like going to Duke University, I feel like I can learn a lot from him.

Williamson is the Blue Devils' fourth commit from the 2018 class joining Westtown School (Chester, Penn.) shooting guard Cam Reddish, Apple Valley (Minn.) point guard Tre Jones and Montverde Academy (Fla.) guard R.J. Barrett. Follow us on Twitter, Facebook and Instagram to stay updated with the latest news and exclusive giveaways! By almost all measures, he is the most-publicized high school basketball player since LeBron James.

Williamson is built like a tank, nearly 280 pounds and only 6-foot-6, with an explosive jumping burst despite that physique.

Flu deaths reach 12 in Georgia as flu remains widespread
For comparison, five people died in the county during the entire last flu season, which generally runs from October to May. The area had a total of 72 confirmed cases of influenza during the 2016-17 season.

Still, Williamson is widely considered a "one-and-done" player with the rare combination of size, explosiveness and ballhandling ability.

What position will Williamson play? He is not in great shape at the moment, owing in part to a bruised foot that forced him to miss the first two months of his high school senior season (he has returned now). Williamson was choosing between the Clemson Tigers, Duke Blue Devils, Kansas Jayhawks, Kentucky Wildcats and North Carolina Tar Heels. In part because of Anderson's time at Clemson, the Tigers had always been considered the favorite to land Williamson.

"Duke stood out because the brotherhood represents a family and Coach K is the most legendary coach to ever coach college basketball", Williamson said in an interview with ESPN.
