Gubbins says officials should know by Saturday whether they can meet their goal of a Monday reopening.

The bodies of Benitez Calderon's 10-year old son, Jonathan Benitez; Jonathan's 3-year-old cousin, Kaily Benitez; and Kaily's mother, 27-year-old Marilyn Ramos, had already been found.

Authorities say the body was located about 10 a.m. Saturday by a dog team.

Other nearby roadways were also impacted by the mudslides, as the 166 Freeway near Maricopa had been closed off until reopening on January 19, Caltrans officials said in a tweet.

A ferry service between the two counties was even set up by some local boating companies to get people up and down the coast by water instead of ground.

Faviola Benitez Calderon was one of three people still missing after the catastrophe swept away homes and lives in the coastal town of Montecito.
