Julia accepts record-breaking SAG Award from home

Actress Julia Louis-Dreyfus didn't take part in Sunday's Screen Actors Guild Awards However, just because she wasn't there doesn't mean that she didn't make some history. Matt Walsh, who accepted on behalf of the cast, gave her a shout-out in his speech, which he pretended to fumble through. She previously won the honour past year for "Veep" and again in 2012.

Veep also celebrated another win that night, with the cast receiving the award for Best Television Comedy, putting a halt to Orange is the New Black's three-year reign.

"She doesn't have a bad day", Cafferty said of Louis-Dreyfus.

Julia Louis-Dreyfus' Veep co-stars have discussed her ongoing battle with cancer, saying that she has been "incredibly strong" and has been in "good spirits". She is now the most decorated actor in the history of the SAG awards, with nine trophies in total. So proud to be a union member.

E! News' Giuliana Rancic brought up the Time's Up movement that has dominated the Golden Globes and noted Brie's support of it. Despite reports that Franco is struggling with the accusations, when asked if he is doing all right, Brie said, "I think so".

The actor won another SAG at the event as the HBO series bagged the honour of Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Comedy Series. Miss being at the table with you all.

While accepting his award, Macy recalled, 'Couple of years ago, I was privy to a conversation with David Mamet, who is really my mentor and taught me everything I knew, was talking to a journalist and the journalist said, 'Actors have a weird job: "[they] just tell lies for a living.' And he said, 'No, an actor's job is to tell the truth".

The actress announced she was diagnosed with breast cancer in September, a few days after she won her sixth consecutive Emmy for her portrayal of Selina Meyer in Veep.

The actress in now under treatment for her diagnosis which has been established as breast cancer. She's now scheduled to begin filming the seventh and final season of her hit HBO series "Veep" in August.
