Mayors fire up crowd at Houston women's march

On Twitter, the president called it a "perfect day for all Women to March", seeming to imply that those taking part were celebrating his administration's accomplishments. Record Stock Market, Strong on Military, Crime, Borders, & ISIS, Judicial Strength & Numbers, Lowest Unemployment for Women & ALL, Massive Tax Cuts, end of Individual Mandate - and so much more.

In Palm Beach, Florida near the president's estate, and in other cities including, New York, Chicago, Denver and San Francisco, women and men marched to voice their rejection of Trump's policies. He might have seen signs and placards with slogans like "Make America Sane Again", "Follow the $$", and "The Patriarchy is Real + Alive, Unlike Our P.O.T.U.S.' Spray Tan!..."

The 2018 New York City Women's March drew thousands of activists to the crowded streets of Manhattan on Saturday, a day that marked the one-year anniversary of President Donald Trump.

CNN reported that Los Angeles also had its largest Women's March yet, with more than 500,000 people joining the event.

The Washington rally featured Democratic politicians from neighboring Virginia, including Senator Tim Kaine, who blamed Trump and Republicans for the shutdown of the government on Saturday. The hats immediately became a symbol of women's empowerment and opposition to President.

Some critics said this year's march lacked a focus and libertarian think tank and senior analyst at the Reason Foundation, Shikha Dalmia, said targeting an issue such as immigration would have had a greater impact.

The rally's first annual event a year ago was a global protest to advocate legislation and policies regarding human rights and other issues, including women and minority rights, racial equality and workers' rights.

Over 50,000 meteorites have been found on Earth alone, according to NASA . "Meteorites are exceedingly rare", Pitt said. The discovery came just two days after a blazing meteor tore through the skies above the northeastern U.S .

In addition to tons of incredible speakers and the overall motivational impact of seeing so many people gather for good, the 2018 Women's March comes with another hopeful beacon: the Women's March signs!

"Beating the feminist drum just seems to me beside the point".

"You know I'm automatically attracted to beautiful - I just start kissing them", Trump said on a hot mic. "Maybe they are trying to cast as wide a net as possible", Ms Dalmia said. Millions of people around the world marched during last year's rallies, and many on Saturday thought about all that's happened in the past year.

With the crucial midterm elections looming later this year, organizers of the Women's March sought to capitalize on their momentum by staging a second round of protests and rallies around the country.

And in light of Trump's one-year anniversary in the White House on January 20, there will be protests once more.

It also comes months ahead of the midterm elections in the United States, in which progressive women hope to turn their activism into victories at the ballot box.

The White House did not offer comment on the marches beyond Trump's tweet, which perhaps isn't surprising.
