Totaku Collection Makes PlayStation Icons Into Real World Collectables

Totaku Collection Makes PlayStation Icons Into Real World Collectables

Those hoping for something similar for PlayStation's franchises are in luck, as a variety of well-known characters are set to be turned into figurines-albeit ones without any Amiibo-style in-game functionality. In fact, the figures are simply collectibles for the most dedicated PlayStation fans, or at least those who don't want to break the bank on figurines.

While these figures will no doubt have you crying "Sony Amiibos!" Instead, they are being made under ThinkGeek's banner.

Called Totaku, the range will include seven figures at launch: Bloodbourne's The Hunter, Crash Bandicoot, God of War's Kratos, Parappa the Rapper, WipeOut's Feisar FX350 ship, Tekken's Heihachi and LittleBigPlanet's Sackboy. As ThinkGeek is a GameStop-owned brand, these figures will only be sold through GameStop stores associated retail brands. Dubbed Totaku Collection, the figures are thankfully very affordable. In the U.S., they're priced at $10 a pop and will be available exclusively through GameStop and Think Geek. There isn't a United Kingdom price yet, but they're $9.99 (£7) in America, according to the GameStop website - which also lists a God Of War figure from God Of War.

Foles walked into the X-ray room after the game, but told The Associated Press after he came out: "I'm good". Here are seven things you may not know about the Patriots-Eagles matchup. "They got after us tonight".

Interestingly, not all of the characters revealed thus far are actually owned by Sony.

Nintendo has enjoyed a great deal of success with its Amiibo toy figure line.

Although new ones seem to be appearing at a much slower rate than before, amiibos have been a big hit for Nintendo and the last remaining example of the toys to life concept.
