Trump highlights Greensboro group in speech to March for Life rally

"Everyone here today is part of the greatest human rights struggle on the face of the earth", said Rep. Chris Smith, R-4th Dist., who spoke after Trump and House Speaker Paul Ryan, R-Wis., at the march, held annually held to mark the 1973 Roe v. Wade U.S. Supreme Court decision that legalized abortion.

President Donald Trump and Vice President Mike Pence signaled their support as thousands of anti-abortion activists rallied on the National Mall at the annual March for Life on Friday.

Seventy-eight percent of respondents said that laws can protect both the health and well-being of a woman and the life of the unborn, while only 15 percent said laws should protect one and not the other.

Vice President Mike Pence, who addressed the rally in person previous year, opened the video session by introducing Trump as "the most pro-life president in American history".

FESSLER: The president noted that just yesterday his administration announced new protections for health care workers who refuse to assist in abortions on moral or religious grounds. As of 2017, the Pew Research Center reports 57 percent of the people surveyed say abortion should be legal in all or most cases.

Vittoria D'Addesi, a junior at Wyomissing High School, got the opportunity to share her passion and support for the pro-life movement.

Most leaders of the anti-abortion movement don't blame Trump for what they perceive as a lack of progress; they fault Republicans in Congress for inaction.

"We need to increase our fasting, and we need to ask God for wisdom for healing, so that we will do our duty to protect the weakest and most vulnerable".

Giants reportedly looking at Jack Del Rio
ESPN's Chris Mortensen reports ex-Raiders coach Jack Del Rio is a "leading candidate" for the Giants' defensive coordinator job. At 3-13, NY had already fired both head coach Ben McAdoo and general manager Jerry Reese, clearing the way for a new regime.

Still, some pro-life Catholics were unhappy with Mr. Trump's video appearance at the March.

Women undergoing abortion could not be prosecuted under the law's provisions, but it would give them a cause for a lawsuit if the child surviving an abortion was uncared for.

"You love your families, you love your neighbours, you love our nation and you love every child - born and unborn - because you believe every life is sacred", Trump said. White House counselor Kellyanne Conway says his transformation from supporting to opposing abortion rights dates back to at least 2011.

President Donald Trump, while speaking at the 45th annual March For Life on Friday, made a remark that required a double take.

"I have also just reversed the previous administration's policy that restricted states efforts to direct Medicaid funding away from abortion facilities that violate the law", he said.

A demonstration to protest against President Trump is also planned this weekend, by women's groups and others.

According to Life Site News, the film opens with Planned Parenthood founder Margaret Sanger delivering a speech to the Ku Klux Klan about her intention to reduce the growth of the African-American population. While we sorrow for what is lost, we hope for what is to come, and allow love to bring healing to all who have been affected by the pain of abortion. I think that they really are the generation that's going to end abortion.
