The Vivo X20 Plus will initially be released in China only so it remains to be seen if and when the company releases this handset elsewhere. The Vivo X20 Plus UD goes on sale January 24, starting in China. The launch was initially rumoured for January 25, but the Chinese company has now confirmed that the new smartphone will finally debut on January 24.

Last week Vivo had showcased the world's first working under-display fingerprint sensor at the CES 2018. At the front, we get a 24MP selfie camera.

The new phone equipped with 6.43 inch of FullView AMOLED display and a 2.2GHz Snapdragon 660 processor with 4GB of RAM and 128GB of onboard storage.

While in terms of optics, it has a dual rear camera setup consisting of a 24MP sensor with an f/1.8 aperture and OIS along with a 5MP sensor. The Clear ID FS9500 is reportedly designed for smartphones with infinity OLED displays. However, the poster doesn't reveal the specification and pricing of the smartphone but it is expected to feature quite similar specifications to the X20 Plus regular variant. Up front, there will be a 12-megapixel sensor with f/2.0 aperture lens and LED flash.

Vivo will host a launch event for the new device in Beijing, with the Vivo X20 Plus expected to go on sale in China at a price of around CNY 4,000, or roughly $625 United States dollars.

The company will release this special edition of Vivo X20 Plus smartphone in the home country first, China. The in-display Fingerprint sensor on the phone works smartly just like a normal Fingerprint Sensor but a bit slower than the high-end smartphone's Fingerprint Sensor. The Vivo X20 Plus was announced back in September past year with really thin bezels, and we were actually able to play around with the Vivo X20 Plus UD at CES 2018, so the design is basically confirmed, as that was the final design of the phone.

However, the pricing and the availability details are not yet known. If you have any suggestions or feedbacks to share, kindly let us know in the comments section given below this post.
