Rain showers linger into Thursday with warmer temperatures

Rain coverage dies down by late tonight. Some light snow accumulation is possible north of Salisbury. High of 77 degrees.

Even heavier rain is expected on Thursday, especially midday. Some scattered rain showers will continue through the afternoon and evening. Winds are pretty breezy already out of the southwest around 10 to 20 miles per hour with partly cloudy to mostly cloudy skies.

Tonight, mostly cloudy and chilly. Temperatures are in the upper 50s to lower 60s! Showers will linger behind the front too, possibly lingering long enough for a brief changeover to light snow Friday morning as colder air works in.

Next week will be mild with scattered showers expected most days. Highs early next week will likely be in the low to mid 70s.
